1) CT-N, the Connecticut Network, is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer with some IT experience for our video production and broadcast operations in Hartford. Primary responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of television broadcast production systems and equipment.
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in television engineering
Knowledge of analog and digital video and audio systems, plus the ability to read and follow schematics and facility system wiring diagrams
SBE Certification or FCC General Radiotelephone license required
Some schedule flexibility

2) The Intrigue Group/Frank Copsidas is in need of an IT/ RF Contract Engineer who can deal with the transmission chain from programming to transmission. Frank operates three low power television stations. Two of the transmitters (WRNT/WTXX) are located West Hartford. The other station’s transmitter (WCRN) is located on a Tower in Webster MA, (about an hour and fifteen minutes from Hartford). All three transmitters/encoders and antennae are brand new. He currently has an EAS system in the box that needs to be installed and programmed. Frank would love one person to take care of all three sites.
